Auditorium at Surat

The Atal Bihari Vajpayee auditorium is located at Katargam in Surat. The state of the art auditorium has 800 seating capacity and it is the largest auditorium in Surat. It is equipped with best sound system & acoustics for all kind of cultural performances. The design is inspired from navaras of theatre (nine emotions) such as shringar, hasya, karuna, Raudra, veera, bhayanka, bibhasta, Adbhuta, shanta. This auditorium is made in devotion to all artist in theatre, dance and acting. It has modernist design representing new India’s aspiration. The building also encompasses a gallery dedicated to the city of Surat.
